And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds

About

This blog is about people, places, events, books, films and other  creations and phenomena I encountered and experienced as I enjoy this  journey called life, going slow and ‘smelling the flowers’ along the way.

I write about personal reflections and insights as a journal to keep me reminded of the innumerable things I have to thank for. Sharing to others who love the same things is the essence of the Filipino term kalakalan which means to trade.

I am  Jay Supetran, a Filipino working as a development finance consultant and freelance writer. I am currently residing in Manila with my wife Beng, shuttling to Myanmar and other Southeast Asian countries where I coordinate implementation of  development projects.  I share work-related articles in field work notes and contribute to Faithwriters.com.  I also write for  Myanmar Insider, a monthly business magazine in Myanmar.
